Product Launch of the Year Awards
To be eligible for the Product Launch of the Year awards, your product must have been launched between 1 April 2022 and 31 March 2023 and have been widely available to the convenience trade during that period.
Eligible launches may include any new SKU – be it a completely new product, brand extension or significant packaging innovation.
Winners will be chosen based on:
1. Sales success – how well did the launch perform overall and how strongly did it resonate with consumers?
2. Availability – was it easy for retailers to get access to the product, was it widely available to the independent trade?
3. Innovation – what did the launch bring to the market that was genuinely new and exciting?
4. Strength of launch support – including advertising and marketing campaigns, social media, PR and point-of-sale
Brand owners are asked to submit entries detailing their top product launches to the convenience channel in each of the 10 sub-categories, launched between 1 April 2022 and 31 March 2023.
Nominated products will be published on www.retailindustryawards.com and independent convenience store owners will be asked to vote for their favourite new product in each sub-category.
Winners will be announced during a dedicated Product Supplier Awards drinks reception before the 2023 Retail Industry Awards ceremony at the Brewery on Tuesday 19 September.
